Complete your details on the entry form found in store, inserting the last 4 digits of the barcodes from your 2 Lipton Ice Tea products, and attaching a copy of your Woolworths/Safeway receipt(s) and post your entry to Lipton Ice Tea Win a $50,000 Boat with BBQ Promotion, Locked Bag 7000, Neutral Bay NSW 2089.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry.
  2. Entry into this promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
  3. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, participating Woolworths or Safeway outlets and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
  4. Multiple entries are accepted, but each product purchased can only be used once for entry and separate proof of purchase must be retained for each entry.
  5. Promotion commences at 09:00 EDST on 04/02/08 and closes at 17:00 EDST on 02/03/08 ("Promotional Period"). Last mail entries received 04/03/08.
  6. The prize draw will be conducted at Level 2, 50 Yeo Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089 at 11:00 EDST on 05/03/08. Winner will be notified by mail and phone and their name and postcode will be published in The Australian on 13/3/08.
  7. The first valid entry drawn will win a Revival 5.25 Cuddy Daycruiser boat with custom fitted Magma Kettle 2 Gas BBQ and trailer valued at RRP $52,500.   8. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years at the closing date of the promotion, the Prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian. To be eligible to claim the prize, the winner must be capable of obtaining registration of the boat in his or her name in accordance with the applicable legislation in the State or Territory of the winner's residence. If the winner is, through any legal incapacity or otherwise, unable to do so, then the winner may, notwithstanding any condition to the contrary herein, assign the prize to another person with legal capacity for the purpose of registration thereof (subject to the approval of the winner's parent or guardian if the winner is under the age of eighteen (18) years).
  9. Prize value is inclusive of GST and is in Australian dollars. Prize value is the recommended retail value as provided by the supplier and are correct at the time of printing. No responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of the prize. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs incurred by the prize winner in taking the prize. Prize cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  10. Total prize pool is valued at $52,500 depending upon the winner's location of residence.
  11. The Promoter may conduct an unclaimed prize draw if necessary at the same place as the original draw at 11.00 EST on 05/06/08 in order to distribute any prizes if they remain unclaimed by that date, subject however to any written directions given under Reg 37 of the Lottery and Gaming Regulations 1993 (SA). The first valid entry drawn will win the prize. The winners name and postcode will be published in The Australian on 13/06/08.
  12. Entrants must retain the original or a photocopy of all their Woolworths/Safeway store receipt/s used to enter this promotion, for every entry submitted, as proof of purchase. The Promoter may request the original or photocopied receipts from the entrant to verify the validity of each entry made before awarding any prize. Where a winner is unable to provide the proof of purchase on request or the proof of purchase records purchase of the Lipton products outside of the Promotional Period, the winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the prize will be re-drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries received after the closing time and date.
  14. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete, damaged or incomprehensible entries. All such entries will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions will be invalid.
  15. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, age and of residency at the nominated prize collection address as per the details entered on the entry form. Any contact details entered incorrectly shall invalidate the entry at the discretion of the Promoter. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner is under 18 years the prize may at the absolute discretion of the Promoter be awarded to the winner's parent or guardian. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry and the prize will be redrawn in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Unrecognised barcodes will not be accepted.
  16. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted from that source and by those entrants invalid.
  17. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from a winner accepting a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought.
  18. In the event that for any reason whatsoever the winner of a prize does not accept the prize, or any part thereof, at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or any part thereof, will be forfeited by the winner.
  19. In the event that the prize is not available despite the Promoter's reasonable endeavours to provide the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute prize(s) to the same and equal recommended retail value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from the various Lottery Departments.
  20. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with accepting any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  21. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
  22. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from any relevant Regulatory Authority.
  23. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the phone or website user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or website, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to participants or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the promotion.
  24. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and, subject to any written directions given by any relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
  25. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each entrant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants' personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
